One of the Best Parts

One thing I love perhaps more than the eating of the turkey on the actual day is....leftovers. I live for the day-after-Thanksgiving turkey sandwich. I will volunteer to host dinner. And cook the turkey for the chance to have leftovers. When my Abuelo was alive, he would take the leftovers and make the most amazing biscuits and gravy the following morning for breakfast.

I settle comfortably with my sandwich for lunch.
